Akufo-Addo is a gift to Ghana… – NPP Guru

The 2016 Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has been described as an intolerant leader by Dr. Arthur Kennedy but a founder member of the party, George Ayisi Boateng thinks Nana Addo is unique in the party.

According to Dr. Arthur Kwabena Kennedy, the 2016 Presidential candidate has surrounded himself with praise-singers who cannot tell him when and if he errs on certain decisions.

“…there are praise-singers around Nana Addo who turned ‘All-die-be-die’ from a one-night mistake to a five-year albatross will not tell him so. They will worship him to defeat and then help him to find scapegoats for their dereliction of duty,” he stated.

But in reaction to this, a Founder Member of the NPP in the Ashanti Region, George Ayisi Boateng, expressed unhappiness with the medium through which Dr. Arthur Kennedy chose to offer his advice to Nana Addo since he [Arthur] was once Nana Addo’s Communication Director for the 2008 election campaign.

He reposed that God should touch Arthur Kennedy’s heart so he harbors good intentions to support Nana Addo; adding that if his [Arthur’s] advice was from “a good heart, God should bless him but if it is otherwise, it should spell doom for him.”

He debunked the assertion that Nana Addo is surrounded by Akyem indigenes as his advisers, indicating that the NPP 2016 Presidential Candidate receives good advice from the clergy and individuals from all the tribes in the country.

“Nana Addo is a critical thinker, a good political analyst, a matured politician and unique among us. He is God-given gift to Ghana; NPP should be proud of him. He is only the politician who has boldly stated he is not corrupt and he won’t allow anybody to steal from the state”, he stated.

“He is truthful who can take good care of the country if we entrust it into his hands and the issue with GYEEDA, SUBA and Woyome will not happen”, he added.
