WE ARE INTRODUCING ELECTRONIC BILLING TO MAKE OUR CUSTOMERS COMFORTABLE ; GHANA WATER COMPANY

The Regional Technology and Renovation Manager of the Ghana Water Company, Madam Gloria Davies Ocloo has stated that, the company is introducing E-Billing and E-Payment to make their customers pay their bills and receive their bills comfortably without coming to their offices.

She said this during the World Water Day celebration at Akropong in the Eastern Region, when our reporter interviewed her. She added that since everything has become technological, it will be easy to transact business with their customers.

According to her, E-billing is about receiving your water bill on your phone
whereby, you can also pay through this process. However, their workers will move from house to house to enable customers know the process. She urged the public not to hesitate to give the needed information to their workers when they come around.

Water is an essential building block of life. It is more than just essential to quench thirst or protect health; water is vital for creating jobs and supporting economic, social and human development.

The 2019 theme for World Water Day is leaving no one behind; which is the central promise of 2030 Agenda for sustainable Development as sustainable development progresses, everyone must benefit. After 28 days if you are unable to pay for your water bills you will be disconnected, she said.
