I stopped ‘smoking’ in 2012 – Shatta Wale

Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr. popularly known as Shatta Wale revealed that he stopped smoking in 2012 and has since not “gone high” on any drug till date.

The Channel O and MOBO music awards nominee gave this revelation on Adom FM’s “Kasahari level” with Pope Skinny.

“King” as he is called by many of his fans also spoke about the joy he felt the first day his hit song “Moko ho” was aired on radio.

According to Shatta he moved from his house all the way to his girl friend’s end to break the news to her.

“I heard my song on radio and I went to my girl friend’s house to tell her to listen to my song played on radio… although she had already heard the song”

He also spoke about his experience at Abuja as he went to perform at the just ended 2015 Glo CAF awards.
