Respected Ghanaian Educationist, Counsellor Daniel Fenyi has expressed his utmost worry concerning the extreme leakage of the ongoing WASSCE questions on the internet,which in his opinion has compromised the credibility of the entire examination.
He mentioned seeing the examination questions on social media, minutes before they are taken in the examination centers. This he suspects is the doing of some workers at WAEC who must be investigated and punished if found guilty.
He called on all teacher unions like GNAT, NAGRAT, CCT-Gh, P.T.A, ATAG and TEWU to show an interest in curbing this weird academic tsunami exploding in the country. He further admonished invigilators, teachers and headmasters who were involved in this criminal act and asked that they be dealt with severely.
He added, that if the right measures weren’t put in place, Ghana shall regret in the future as we will be producing Doctors, Teachers, Lawyers, Engineers, Politicians, Accountants, etc who have no knowledge and competence in their field and stealing/ cheating will become a norm to them.
Counsellor Fenyi said, he would blame every mess in the education sector on too much politicization, which is destroying the country’s educational system.
