The System Is Corrupt…This Is Just An Evidence – Ace Ankomah On Anas’ Expose

“It is not surprising because Judiciary is part of the society like the Police and everybody else who is perceived to be corrupt…you and I know that the system is inherently corrupt. If members of the Judiciary have been implicated in a corrupt act; they are members of the society. But the constitution demands that they must be of high moral standing…” says Ace Ankomah, a lawyer.

Ace Ankomah was reacting to the 34 high court judges who have been cited in a latest bribery and corruption scandal unraveled by ace investigator, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

More than 100 of the Judicial Service have also been cited in the expose.

Ace Ankomah speaking on an interview said ”if there is a clear evidence of bribery and corruption, the judges, will face the law”.

According to him, some of the judges in Anas’ expose “refused to collect bribes offered to them and threatened to jail them (those offering the bribes) if they come again”

Lawyer Ankomah however refuted claims that there are issues of entrapment or an attempt by Anas to implicate the judges.
