NDC Job for Akua Donkor

CONTROVERSIAL POLITICIAN, Akua Donkor, seems to have deserted his Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) to take up a mouthwatering but difficult job in the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).

She has openly declared that it is now her core duty to protect President John Dramani Mahama from barrage of verbal attacks from his political opponents, especially, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) members.

‘It is my duty to make sure that the NPP who have closed their eyes and ears to the splendid works of the President Mahama, who is my son, which had helped developed the country, doesn’t insult the president.

‘Henceforth, I will sternly fight anybody from the NPP who would try to rain verbal attacks on President Mahama,’ Akua Donkor made the emphatic statement on Nhyira FM on Friday.

According to the GFP leader and founder, it had been the intention of the NPP to always peddle falsehood about the president, with the sole intention of discrediting his good works and denting his image.

‘Leave President Mahama alone,’ Akua Donkor cautioned the president’s detractors, noting that henceforth she would openly battle anybody or group that would try to attack the president.

She said the NPP envies President Mahama therefore they (NPP) had fabricated a fiendish ploy to always paint the president black in public, stressing that she would not sit aloof for such a thing to go on.

Akua Donkor said the NPP flagbearer for the 2016 polls, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, also has skeletons in his wardrobe but strangely nobody seems to be talking about him, saying ‘they are always attacking Mahama.’

She asked what wrong had President Mahama done to Ghanaians and the NPP in particular to merit such wild and unfounded attacks, noting that President Mahama is the leader of the nation ‘so his enemies can go to hell.’

According to Akua Donkor, she had also been attacked unjustifiably by the NPP members ever since she started getting close to President Mahama, noting that she has a thick skin so she is not bothered.

The GFP founder said she had recently been whacked and lampooned by scores of NPP faithful after she traveled with President Mahama to Italy, saying that the action of the NPP faithful ‘is sheer jealousy.’

Akua Donkor, who was freely attacking the NPP, suddenly became vexed when the host of the show asked whether the ‘dumsor’ followed President Mahama to Italy recently, retorting ‘I am not interested in the dumsor issue.’
