Friends of Akosombo celebrates this year Easter in aid of promoting Akosombo tourist centers
This year’s Easter celebration in aid of promoting the good image of Akosombo and beautiful tourist centers. Friends of Akosombo pulled more people into Akosombo Township with their 2nd edition of their group seminar.
The seminar which was aiming at making Akosombo one of the moist confined areas for the Easter celebration saw the Volta river authority (VRA) boss Kirk Koffi, Hon. Thomas Apem Nyarko DCE for Asuogyman and other dignitaries.
Speaking to rite news, the president of friends of Akosombo said, they have realized that during Easter celebration, many people do not have places to visit so that was why they came together to form the group called friends of Akosombo.
He added that, the want to grab the attention of Ghanaians to Akosombo because the town has all the beautiful tourist attraction sites like the Akosombo Dam, the Senchi Ferry, Adomi Bridge and other magnificent scenes.
