E/R minister takes over from two DCE’S

The tenure of office of two District Chief Executives in the Eastern Region has come to an end and for that matter, they (MCE,s)  have handed over the administration of the two assemblies to The Eastern Regional minister,  Hon. Antwi  Boasiako Sekyere as the 1992 constitution demands.

The two districts are the Nsawam-Adoagyire, administered by Mark Dompreh and West Akyem municipal Assembly headed by George Apraku.

According the minister, the president  John Dramani  Mahama wrote to the MCE, showing his appreciation and profound gratitude to the duo for their good work done and also seeking them to hand over to the Regional Minister as their term of office has expired.

He however denied rumors that the president has sacked the two MCE,s

The minister will now see the day to day administration of the two assemblies.

Hon, Bosiako-Sekyere assured that he would cooperate with the coordinating Directors of the two municipal assemblies, budget officers and the various assembly members to run the administration.
