The Municipal Chief Executive for Yilo Krobo Municipality is angry over comments made by the minority on the floor of parliament on Thursday over the establishment of a university in the Eastern Region and for that matter Somanya and DonkorKrom have been located for the university.
Hon. Andrews Obu Soda described the MPS comments as biased and hatred against the people of Krobo.
He questioned why the MPs are opposing the establishment of a university in Somanya.
It would be recalled that, Dominic Ntitiwul (MP) and Papa Owusu Ankomah (MP) who are all NPP MPs opposed strongly in parliament that the proposed university should be established in the regional capital of the Eastern region and for that matter Koforidua and not in Somanya.
Both MPs strongly assert that regional universities are located in the regional capital and why this time the establishment of eastern regional university in Somanya.
