WE’LL VOTE ‘SKIRT AND BLOUSE’ AGAINST TERLABI – TETTEH SIKA

The seeming brewing tension, acrimony and disunity brewing on the front of the executives of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Lower Manya Krobo constituency continues to rear its ugly head. This time, former party chairman, Tetteh Sika is threatening to instigate what is known in Ghanaian political circles as skirt and blouse voting against the sitting Member of Parliament, Honorable Okletey Terlabi should the delegates make the mistake of re-electing him.

Mr. Tetteh made the threats on Rite FM’s hot political show, Platform on Monday. Giving reasons to back his stance, Sika who called HonourableTerlabi a failure said the MP has woefully failed in his responsibilities as the Member of Parliament as well as his role in various deputy ministerial portfolios.

Mr. Tetteh, a strong advocate for embattled former MCE for Lower Manya, Isaac Agbo Tetteh and who claims he vigorously campaigned for his MP in the last primaries as well as during the 2012 parliamentary elections, said he’ll wave a massive campaign against Terlabi by revolting against his candidacy.

“I was driving with my right hand with the microphone on my left campaigning for this man…today, he steals monies meant for me,” Sika charged.

Asked by the host if his party is not finally broken in the constituency, Mr. Sika concedes that there are challenges of differences on the front but strongly refutes that the NDC is broken in his constituency.
