USAID inaugurates a new technical adviser into the Agric ministry

USAID has inaugurated an economist, Mr. Kwesi Korboo who is now the technical adviser to the Agric ministry to help the ministry in terms of providing some supporting policies.

According to Mr. Korboo, a week ago, a forum was organized under the ministry to meet all exporters in Ghana (mangoes, pineapples, and banana exporters) in order to provide support and assistance on how to increase the export of horticulture products. He said this on the “Akuafo Si Sen” segment of the Morning Show.

There has always been technical support to the ministry from USAID. “The previous technical adviser was Dr. Dapaah, so this is nothing new” he revealed.Usaid is to provide a global support and that is what they are doing. He added.

He added that, he is there to play a quicker role in the ministry by providing support, financial loss and projects for specific value chain to push the industry up.
