Thieves Ransack Ranch of Golden Sunbeam College – 14 Cattle Stolen

Thieves have reportedly broken into a ranch at the Golden Sunbeam International College of Science and Technology at Ayikuma near Dodowa in Greater Accra region, stealing a number of cattle in the process. The event which occurred on the dawn of Thursday, the 27th of April, 2017 at 2am left the college losing a total of fourteen cattle in the process, valued at between Gh c 120 000 and Gh c 130 000.

President of the college, Mr. Emmanuel Ohene Opare who confirmed the incident to Rite news’ Anthony Adobolor indicated that the thieves broke through the wall of the ranch and made away with their booty. This he added happened despite the presence of a 24-hour security guard (day and night) at the premises.

No arrests have been made as yet but Mr. Opare asserted that a report has been lodged with the district police who are currently investigating the incident.
