The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Assin Central in the Central Region, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has vowed to personally deal with any member of the NPP who ‘robs’ the state.
According to him, in as much as he had exposed some prominent figures in the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for causing financial loss to the state, he won’t relent on his efforts to track same people in his government.
“There are bad nuts in NPP but as a government, we will crush them because we are ready to serve Ghanaians. I want to send a stern warning to my NPP members, that if they make the same mistakes the NDC made by stealing state money, I will bring the person on board and expose that person unless you take me to jail.
“I will deal with any NPP member who will spend State money. We were voted into power to serve Ghanaians and are ready to serve. The same thing I descended on NDC, I will do same with any NPP member who squanders state money” he said on Adom TV’s Morning Show “Badwam” Tuesday.
Ghanaians, Mr Kennedy Agyepong indicated must be psyched up to speak against any government who will not help the country. He noted that corruption was the main cause of the defeat of the NDC in the 2016 polls hence it will be prudent for the NPP government to use the country’s money judiciously for the benefit of all.
“We have 4 years to deliver, as for the mistakes, it will come but we need to thread cautiously and deliver well and use the state money judiciously,” he stated.
