Tamale hosts 8th National Food and Agriculture Fair

FAGRO has commenced the 2017 National Food and Agriculture Show at the Tamale Sports Stadium Tuesday 26, September under the theme: Creating Jobs in Agriculture, Northern Region in Focus, Rite FM  has learnt.

The five-day fair was scheduled to span between 26 and 30 of September with line of activities which include;  Leadership Summit for Women in Agriculture, an Agric College Dialogue, and Seminar on how to Structure Strong farmers’ Cooperative, Business Plan Writing, Boost Camp for Agribusiness players and a forum to discuss the government 1 District, 1 Factory agenda.

The secretariat partners with National Farmers and Fishermen Award Winners Association of Ghana (NFFAWAG), Dizengoff, John Deere, Africa Lead and the Northern Regional Coordinating Council will roll out these activities during the five –day fair which is expected to welcome thousands to the Northern Regional capital.

The fair will be graced by dignitaries of high-profile such as; Minister of Agriculture, Northern Regional Minister, Netherlands Ambassador to Ghana, Members of the Diplomatic Corps, DCE’s, Farmers, Agric Input Dealers, Machinery Companies, Financial Institution, Exhibitors and many others.

FAGRO is a non- profit-making organization that has over the years championed key Agric projects in the country and beyond. The secretariat organizes Agric events, exhibitions, trade and investment trips, seminars, workshops and summits.
