Hon. Isaac Tetteh-Agbo, the former Municipal Chief Executive of the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly has been awarded a citation acknowledging and appreciating the works undertaken by his outfit during his tenure of office.
The citation described him as a symbol of dynamism and a pillar of development taking into account most of the projects which came to bear under his watch.
Some of the notable developmental projects for which he was appraised were the establishment of the Mina Korlekwor Plaza at Hwekper, Odumase Krobo, and the establishment of the Ensign College of Public Health located at Kpong, both privately owned facilities.
Some parts of the citation read; “Hon Isaac Tetteh –Agbo, you were the MCE whose dynamism, courage, sense of duty and love for community, reflected in clear Executive Orders issued by your good self, ensured the construction of Mina Korlekwor Plaza at Hwekper, Odumase-Krobo.”
Hon Isaac Tetteh-Agbo expressed his utmost gratitude to Mr. Akunyumu Tetteh for recognizing his support and involvement in what he has achieved as a feat. He said that he was humbled for the recognition and the words in the citation.
He also indicated that he had been faced with stiff opposition in his former outfit whilst pursuing the said developmental project especially during the land acquisition process. He added that he was able to surmount the opposition because he saw the need to support the said projects foreseeing its future benefits to the municipality.
He took the opportunity to admonish his successors and other leaders in the municipality to make an effort to think outside the box and pave way for potential projects like this to come to fruition in order to enhance development. He encouraged them to be selfless and genuine in their dealings so as to leave a positive legacy for the sake of posterity.
Having taught as Chemistry Teacher at the Adisadel College, honorable Isaac Agbo Tetteh was appointed the District Chief Executive for Lower Manya Krobo in 2009 by the late Prof. J.E.A. Mills of the erstwhile National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration which ended 7th January, 2017.
He was the immediate predecessor to Hon. Jacob Kwame Frederick Acolatse in 2014 under former President John Dramani Mahama.
One of the four parliamentary hopefuls of the 2015 NDC primaries in Lower Manya Krobo Constituency, Hon. Isaac Agbo eyes a possible come back in the next intra party elections.
