The queen mother of Akwamu traditional area in the Eastern region, Nana Afrakoma has advised the basic education certificate examination candidates to take their academic work seriously and avoid cheating during examination.

Advising the candidates, who are going to write the BECE on the 25th June nationwide, she reminded students that cheating during examination was equal to stealing and therefore cautioned persons who sold examination materials “apor” to students and parents to desist from the act, describing it as criminal.
