Shatta Wale to be Honored at the 3G Awards 2015 in New York

3G Media, Inc., the U.S-based multi-media and entertainment company announces that Hiplife and Afrobeat Superstar and Ghana’s Dancehall King, Shatta Wale, has been added to the list of honorees at the coming 5th Annual 3G Awards.The event will be held on Saturday, September 26th, 2015. The theme is: Change by the Power of One, and will honor individuals who are making important differences in our world. The venue is the PAK Banquet Hall, 4229 Park Ave, Bronx, NY 10457, USA, off Tremont Ave. The doors will open at 5:00pm Sharp with reception and networking going on until 7:00pm. This will be followed by the awards/dinner and dancing until 11:00pm. , the music star will officially attend and be honored at the 5th Annual 3G Awards event.

The acceptance letter from Shatta Wale’s management,Shatta Movement represented by Boogie Down Nima Productions to the Executive Producer of 3G Awards; His Excellency; Charles N. Ntiamoah-Mensah(Mr. CNN) reads: “Thanks for the information in respect of the invitation to the 5th Edition of 3G Awards 2015 in the USA in September of this year.The Management of Shatta Movement has accepted the Invitation of its Artiste “Shatta Wale” to attend the program. Management wishes to extend its sincere thanks to the Event Organizers in advance for recognizing Shatta Wale’s immense contribution to the Entertainment and Music Industry across the Globe”.

Born as Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., Shatta Wale’s debut concert in New York on July 2014, was a huge success. It brought the New York City to its feet. He recently also made history when he joined Sarkodie to perform their song ‘Dancehall commando’ at Harlem’s famed Apollo Theater on August 8th which was dubbed; History In The Making.

Leading artistes who will entertain at the 2015 ceremony are: Award-winning gospel music star, Steve Kelly; US/Ghana sensational gospel music star; Ewuraba Nyamekye; Matu Saye; Hiplife Sensation, 2Shy; Ghanaian trumpeter Francis Akrofi- the “Louis Armstrong of Africa”; Minister Ike from Canada , Elisante, Praise Dance King, 7 Renowned DJs and a live performance by The Ghanaian Catholic Community Church Live Band. Among the honorees is; Boxing Legend and former Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight Champion of the world, Mr. Michael Spinks, Pastor Lord Asante Boadu, Calvary Life Baptist Chapel,Gaithersburg, MD, Nana Aduanaba Kuffour, NY, Daniel Agyei(Kuwait Shipping, NY) and other dignitaries attending to be announced later.
