Rite FM in collaboration with Agape House Church in Accra held its third edition of Feed and Clothe the Needy at Oborpah Jekiti in the Lower Manya krobo Municipality on 6th of April 2015. The event saw the Chief Executive Officer of FMSL Multimedia, Mr. Jonie Addo Fenning, Founder of United Renaissance Party, Charles Kofi Wayo, Chiefs and People of Oborpah and Other Invited Guest present.
Addressing the gathering at the function, the Chief Executive Officer of FMSL Multimedia, Mr. Jonie Addo Fenning said, Feed and Clothed the Needy is one of Rite FM’s Coporate Social Responsibility obligations to put smile on the faces of the needy and orphans in the society, adding that, Rite FM will continue to expand this project to reach out to many communities.
The Head Pastor of Agape House Church, Pastor Prince Mensah added that, the mission of the church is to preach the word of God and also feed the needy and that was the reason why they collaborated with Rite FM to feed and clothe the needy at Oborpah.
He therefore advised other churches to focus their attention on the orphaned and needy people in the society because Christianity is not only to sit in the church auditorium but to reach out the communities that are in need.
Meanwhile the people of Oborpah and other people from the surrounding villages expressed their gratitude to Rite FM for their kind gesture hoping that the next edition will still come back to Oborpah Jekiti.
