Weeks after the event and in an interview with Mr. Seth Martey, Director of Agricultural at the Lower Manya Municipality, he enumerated the great impacts and benefits of the Agric Forum including the fact that it will help the stakeholders especially the farmers who participated in the program.

According to him, most of the farmers were not aware of the farm insurance but this event has revealed to them that they can secure their farms and the risk will be minimized now. He stated that, the input dealers in agric sectors who were present also educated the farmers on the correct usage of chemical applications and the safety aspect as well.

Mr. Martey also added that, the presentation of the Head of Women in Agricultural Department (WIAD) will also help most of the women to acquire a lot of skills in order to add value to the farm products and the nutritional aspect. He pleaded with the farmers to be loyal and willing to pay back their loans when given to them for continuity.

He also assured that, the Agricultural Department will also sponsor the programme next year since it will benefit their farmers to expand their agribusinesses. He encouraged the organizers of the forum to send the requests for sponsorship early to get more sponsors to widen the event next year.
