Prince Owusu wins first match as Medeama coach

Medeama SC made it three successive wins in the Ghana Premier League following a 1-0 win over Liberty Professionals in an outstanding fixture played at the Karl Reindorf park.

Newly appointed Medeama boss Prince Owusu was on the bench as he supervised his first win as manager of the CAF confederation cup representatives.

Akwasi Donsu scored a sumptuous free kick in the first department of the game to hand Medeama all spoils at the expense of good Liberty side.

The influential attacking midfielder pick his spot well to slot in the free kick which was his second free kick goal in three days after scoring a similar one against New Edubiase last Sunday.

The Yellow and Mauves with a game in hand have moved to sixth on the league table whilst Liberty whilst Liberty miss out on the opportunity to overtake fourth placed Hearts of Oak.
