The union chairman of Cocoa Processing Company (CPC) Mr. Kingsley Owusu has called on Ghanaians to patronize cocoa product especially chocolate for the celebration of this year valentine Day.
According to him, National Chocolate Day is aimed at promoting the consumption of Ghana Chocolate and Cocoa based product, minimize anti –social vices associated with the celebration of Valentine’s Day, increase awareness on the health benefits of chocolate and boost domestic tourism.
Speaking to RITE FM News in an interview, Mr. Owusu said that, Cocoa Processing Company, an indigenous manufacturer of chocolate produces chocolates such Golden Tree and Royal which contain nutrients like vitamins which help boost sexual weakness, ulcer, tooth ache etc.
Mr. Owusu has hinted that, cocoa processing company may not meet the demand of Ghanaians in terms of producing chocolate for valentine day celebration due to erratic power supply which is affecting their operations.
