An Engineer at the Volta River Authority, Eng. Philip Tetteh Padi has advised young nurses to be more passionate about their work. Adding that, they should put aside the perception of making money out of the profession.
In an interview with Rite FM News at a durbar organized to climax a weeklong celebration of Ghana Registered Nurses Association in the Lower Municipality, Eng. Tetteh Padi said some young nurses’ attitude towards work is poor stating that some go into the profession just to make money but not for the actual duty they are called to perform.
He further stated , they should learn from the experience of the senior nurses if they want to shine in their field, adding that the kind of passion nurses exhibited in the 70’s and 80’s has completely missing among the young nurses we have in the country now.
