NPA, GRTCC meets over 9% fuel increment; prices to go up in the offing

The national petroleum authority (NPA) and the Ghana road transport coordinating council (GRTCC) and other stakeholders have met in Accra Monday to discuss issues relating to the 9% fuel price increment.

According to Mr. Alhaji Aliyu Baba (Alhaji super star) revealed to Rite FM that, the NPA had wanted to increase the price of petroleum product to about 24% but considered the current economic hardship and slashed it down starting with the 9% increment and plans are under way to increase fuel prices in the offing.
