Residents of DC road, a suburb of Somanya in the eastern region, have been shocked to the marrows on Thursday afternoon when the body of a nineteen year old final year student of Manya Krobo Senior High School, Makrosec, was found hanging from a mango tree.
Reasons for Eunice Lartey’s strange action are still scanty but residents who saw her just an hour before her lifeless body was discovered are yet to come terms with the incident.
Eunice was said to have just returned from school and even went out to get food to eat before her body was discovered.
At the time Rite Fm’s Albert Terkpetey was leaving the scene, police personnel from the Somanya police station had retrieved the body from the tree, leaving family members, friends and sympathizers wailing, shocked and confused.
