Mahama Salutes “Gallant” Ghanaian Workers

Former President John Mahama has paid his respect to Ghanaian workers as the country joins the rest of the world to mark ‘workers day’ today, May 1.

May 1 is observed across the world to appreciate the contribution of workers towards development.

The former Ghanaian leader in a tweet said:”It’s Workers’ Day. I join my fellow countrymen and women to salute you all, gallant Ghanaian workers”.

Meanwhile, President Akufo-Addo will be the special guest at today’s National May Day Parade to be held at the Independence Square.

The event is under the theme: “Ghana @60: Mobilising for Ghana’s future through the creation of decent jobs”.
