Let’s Still Guard Against Ebola

By Saddath Asiamah:

Though the scourge of the deadly ebola virus seems to have abated in recent times, caution has still been determined as very critical to safeguard against any future outbreaks.

President of the Devine Mother and Child foundation, Mr. Edmond Deodu has held a workshop to educate people on how to prevent themselves from any possible outbreaks of the Ebola virus even though the virus has never been detected in Ghana.

According to him prevention as they say is always better than cure which is why the general public should take adequate preventive measures than the cure. In a workshop supported by the United Nations, Mr. Doudu cautioned people against coming into contact with dead or sick animals and to adequately sterilize or wash their hands as well as clean it with hand sanitizers if one mistakenly touches a dead animal.

He further urged the public to always attend large gatherings where they are likely to meet and greet a lot of people with hand sanitizers to guard against any possible contractions of the virus.
