Kwaw Kese shows love to inmates at Kumasi Central Prison

Hip-life artiste, Kwaw Kese, spent Valentine’s day with inmates of the Kumasi Central prison.

The embattled celebrity, who spent over a month in the prison last year for allegedly smoking marijuana, told LUV FM’s Prince Appiah that his time spent there taught him several life lessons which have transformed him.

Donating toiletries, mattresses and food items to the inmates, Kwaw Kesse recalled his tenure in the corrections facility, describing it as a “school” and saying that “this school needs a lot of support and love”.

According to Kwaw Kesse, Valentine’s day; a celebration of love, was the best opportunity to show the inmates that they are cared for, adding that “I’ve got a lot of love to share with the inmates of the prison.”

He opined that it was important that people realise that prisoners are not to be neglected, as they need a lot of care and support.

The popular artiste also paid a visit to the Maternity Ward of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
