Joy and Glamour as FMSL Fetes Employees

Tens of employees of the Farm Management Systems Limited, FMSL including its subsidiaries, FMSL multimedia (Rite FM) and FMSL Farms have come together as one for a colorful end of year luncheon hosted by Board chairman, Mr. Davies Narh Korboe on Saturday, 14th January, 2017 at the premises of the Board chairman at Somanya.

The staff who were treated to good music, food and drinks could not hide their joy at a get-together that brought them together for the first time in a long while. It was a feast day for all and only you and your appetite defined you. Today, there are no High Tables as the Board Chairman, Chief Executive Officer of FMSL, Mr. Johnie Addo Fening as well as General Manager of Rite FM, Mr. Kenneth Osei Oliver got drowned in the melee.

Some staff of Rite FM also expressed their gratitude to the chairman for his hospitality. ‘The event has been very interesting and I had a lot of fun,’ Anthony Adorborlor, a staff of the station expressed. Another, Mary Dompreh also expressed similar views. Just as her colleagues, she equally said she enjoyed the get-together that offered her a lot to eat and drink.

Morning Show host of Rite FM, Krobea Asante couldn’t also hide his joy. ‘The chairman has made my day and this is going to be very memorable for that matter.’

The chairman, Mr. Korboe who also doubles as the president of the National Farmers and Fishermen Award Winners Association of Ghana used the opportunity to wish all present a happy new year on behalf of FMSL Multimedia. Mr. Korboe also used the platform to congratulate Ghanaians, irrespective of their political affiliations, on the conduct of peaceful elections while congratulating the New Patriotic Party on its victory.

He underscored the need for staff to work hard adding that a lot of sacrifice went into establishing the company. ‘It is very important that every one of you work hard which is why some of us have put in a lot of sacrifice in setting up these establishments which have in turn provided you with jobs,’ Mr. Korboe noted.

The Chairman also used the platform to congratulate Rite FM for its massive contributions towards the development of the agric sector.

The staff also took the opportunity of the event which coincided with the birthday of one of its employees, Nana Ama Sarfo to celebrate with her.
