George Boateng Arthur, a 45-year-old man who wants to contest President John Mahama, has revealed he has already constituted his cabinet of “incorruptible astute citizens”.
“I am surrounded by some of the best brains you can find and we will solve the problems… Yes Fiifi I have constituted my cabinet already,” he told Anopa Kasapa host, Fiifi Banson on Kasapa 102.3FM on Wednesday.
Arthur failed to name members of the cabinet but said he is looking forward to working with all of them.
Boateng who has been accused of throwing dust into the eyes of Ghanaians by claiming he has already picked up forms to contest the sitting president in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential primary slated for November 7, 2015, said on Kasapa FM people in his opponent’s team are spreading lies about his person.
The General Secretary of the NDC Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has recently described him as a demented man in need of medical attention.
“He has not picked any form. I heard he has been in my office but I told my clerk that I am currently not in Accra. It is not true that anybody has picked a nomination form for the Presidential primary.
“That man should be sent to the Pantang Hospital because he is suffering. He has never called me as he claims,” Mosquito said.
But Boatemg is adamant about his claims of picking forms and working towards unseating the president.
Boateng also dispelled rumours that he is married to three women.
“No. Everyone wants to be my wife,” he laughs. “But I am married to only one woman and I have seven children”.
