A conception that some mortuary men in the country have sex with the dead and some people even pay money to mortuary men, in order to sleep with the dead for spiritual purposes can be dangerous because of its heavily heaped implications, Rev Daniel Amponsah head pastor of the Shining Glorious Ministries in Accra has said.
The pastor who was responding to the claims and assumptions that it really happened in our mortuaries, confirmed in an interview that some do this in order to become rich or attain super powers for several purposes.
According to Rev. Amponsah, it is even scientifically not advisable to touch the dead without gloves since diseases could be contracted through the process. Adding that the Holy Bible confirms that the dead and the living have nothing to do and whoever sought help from the dead has no morality.
“Apart from possible contraction of diseases, spiritual implications can be hefty” He lamented and continued that individuals who have sex with the dead enter into covenant with the spirit world, this explain why we often hear that people are been chase by ghost and other demonic bodies.
He has therefore cautioned today’s youth to be content with whatever they have and to desist from engaging external forces to obtain fame since such blessings do not last but ruins ones entire family and generations not yet born. “If you gain the whole world and lose your life, what is the gain” He ended.
