The aspiring member of parliament for the ruling National Democratic Congress in the Lower Manya Krobo Constituency, Dr. Joseph Nuertey said he will lift up the image of krobos when voted to as the member of parliament.
According to him, every member in his constituency will recieve the first share of the national cake under his administration.
He made this comments when he picked his nomination forms to contest the Parliamentary seat in the constituency at Odumase-Krobo of the Eastern region.
Dr Joseph Nuertey who is currently the Volta Regional Director for Ghana Health Service stated the people of Lower Manya deserve more development to improve their standard of living and that was the reason why he is contesting.
“I have decided to joined the race because I have the cry of people.”he said
He further stated eventhough there is tension in constituency, he entreated all party members to avoid politics of insult from their campaign,adding that he is hopeful for victory come November 7.
So far four people have picked the nomination form in Lower Manya including the incumbent MP Hon. Ebeneezer Okletey Terlabi.
