I came face to face with death – Amakye Dede

Highlife legend, Amakye has thanked Ghanaians for their support after his accident on January 2 at Bunso Junction in the Eastern Region.

The Asante Akyem Bob Marley, Abrante Amakye Dede in a chat with Christian Agyei Frimpong on Onua FM in Accra disclosed that “as a human being, you need to prepare yourself because anything can happen. I met death face to face but God saved me through his wonders”.

According to him, God did not take his life because he is not done with what he has been assigned to accomplish on earth.

He continued that he will soon hold a thanksgiving service to thank God for saving his life when he thought all was lost.

“All I can say is to thank God and Ghanaians who have been praying for me since the accident happened. You know those who appreciate you when you are in trouble and Ghanaians have shown more than love to me throughout this period.

At the right time, I will organise a thanksgiving service so that I can make myself dirty to prove how grateful I am to God for saving my life”

Commenting on his manager’s death, Amakye Dede told Christian that ” even though I have lost my manager, I still give thanks to God because it might have been difficult for others if all of us died through the accident. May God keep the soul of my late manager in his bosom.”
