Ghana Black Satellites management committee Chairman Winfred Osei Kwaku(Parma) says he is not surprised that Ghana has won it first game but they really worked for it.
The black satellites beat their South African counterpart Amajita 2-0 at the group opening game at the ongoing African youth championship in Senegal, Mbour.
I am not quite surprised that the boys lived to up to expectations because we have worked towards it.
In an interview with Rite FM Sports after the game, he stated that when they finished with the Turkish trip, what we did was that we conceded in both games so we told them that they should try to keep a clean sheet and that is what they have done “said Winfred Osei Kwaku”.
We have used past heroes to motivate them so I am sure they are in the right frame of mind to ensure that we qualify to represent Africa on one of the slots, he added.
