Filling stations and hotel operators have been urged to take good measures to enhance their safety operation in their daily activities to prevent harassment from armed robbers. The Akuse police commander ASP Francis Akah has said.
In an interview on Rite FM’s morning Ride today, he said armed robbers have now diverted their attention to hotels and filling stations so care must be taken to prevent such dreadful acts.
According to him, the security men that are employed in such places are mostly old men who can do little about an arm robbery attack and therefore can’t give out their best when matters of such arise.
He later appealed to the hotel and filling stations operators across the country to engage the service of private security agencies to secure their outfits.
