Ghanaian teams are not transparent in their running of their clubs- Mr. Owusu Bempah

 

Veteran Sports Journalist and now senior Health administrator at the St. Martins De Porres”Hospital, Mr. Owusu Osei Bempah, has urged Ghanaian teams to be transparent in their running affairs of their clubs to encourage the Government and other corporate bodies to support them when they are participating in the Continental Club competition.

According to him, the clubs are not transparent because they publicly not declare their account and also there are no accuracy in their money they always get  from players transfer to abroad, and we shouldn’t forget that most of the teams are own individuals.

However they should position and structure them self in way by getting the right personnel to run the affairs well, to attract support or sponsorships; he stress it.

In another related development, Mr. Bempah, has thrown a challenge to the P.R.O of the various clubs that they should be able to educate them self and their fans to understand the rules governing football and the tell the true story of their clubs, and also know their job.

If not out of ignorant you will say something and at the end it will insight the fansns and bring misunderstanding into our games, he said as a P.R.O you need not to accuse referee in front of your teaming supporters to bring disrupt of the profession.

He disclosed this on Rite Sports show called Sports World last Saturday in a telephone conversation by the host Mr. Kenneth Oliver.
