Ghana to play 2017 AFCON qualifier against Mozambique in Accra

The Senior National Black Stars will play their third Group H AFCON 2017 qualifier against Mozambique at the Accra Sports Stadium between the 22nd and 24th of March 2016.
The match is part of the many qualifiers which will be played across the continent as the qualifiers resume this month.

“We have decided to have the game in Accra because we have to fly out for the next game in a short period,” said by the communication director Ghana Football Association (GFA) Ibrahim Sannie Darra.

“So we decided its better we play the game in Accra and just fly out immediately after the game.”

The last qualifier to be played there ended up in a 7-1 win for the Black Stars against Mauritius and it was in the opening match of the qualifiers.

Coach Avram Grant is to arrive in Ghana next week from his leave in England to start preparations for the match.
