Ghana defender Baba Rahman named in Chelsea’s Champions League squad

Ghana defender Abdul Baba Rahman has been included in Chelsea’s 2015/16 UEFA Champions League squad. Ritesports can confirm.

Rahman was named in the squad by his coach Jose Mourinho as one of his defenders for the European competition this season.

The 21-year-old is yet to make an appearance for the blues since his move from German Bundesliga side Augsburg.

The highly-rated Ghanaian international is regarded as one of the best signing for Chelsea this season following his impressive display for Augsburg in the German top-flight last season where he made seven assists in 27 appearances.

He was however regarded as the player with the most crosses from open play in the Bundesliga at the end of the 2014/15 League season.

The former Dreams FC, Asante Kotoko and Greuther Furth left-back is currently with the Black Stars team preparing for an AFCON qualifier against Rwanda on Saturday.
