Farmers must come together as one body-Oboadea

According to the Acting Youth Organizer for Ghana National Association of Farmers and Fishermen (GNAFF), Nana Oboadie Opambour Bonsu Boateng II, farmers in this country have not received the recent US$150 allocated for agriculture and this is not the first time this is happening.

On Rite Fm’s Agric Forum last Saturday he chastised, the structures we have in the countries are failures and too lazy. ‘’They do not work, they only sit in their offices expecting money from government whilst they have internal generated fund’’.

In a related development, the president for Lower Manya Krobo Mango Farmers Association, Mr. Edward Amanor also stated that the minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Mad. Sherry Ayitey has well-spoken but who will react to her thought positively. He reiterated.

Ha condemned the pushing of all agricultural benefits from government to the north, indicating there are farmers down south really in need of Agric input and machineries. The idea of “let do something to support the North” should come to an end. He called for a broad policy to support all farmers and not just farmers in the North.
