Farmers Advised To Adopt Organic Fertilizer

By Catherine Ahiador:

Michael Odame, an accountant of Diana farms, a Malaysian-based company speaking on Rite FM’s Kuapayo has noted that a careful study indicates that the organic fertilizer produces good yield and improves soil fertility compared to the inorganic fertilizers which depreciates the quality of the soil.

Michael Odame, whose company has its branches in African countries such as Benin, Togo, Ivory Coast and Ghana, emphasized that some fertilizers when used on the crops gives a good yield on that particular season but reduces yield drastically on the next crop production season.

He also stressed that farmers should practice good ways of spraying their farms, adding that they should not rush into the practice. He was emphatic that in doing so, it would help produce good yields of their crops.
