As a lot of women continue to struggle for the fruit of the womb just in order to be also called a mother, a 17 year old girl has abandoned her newly born child at an uncomplete building.
Rite FM’s correspondent, Bediako Gabriel reports that the girl in question, Maame Abena happens to be a 17-year-old who resides at Wassa Powako in the Amenfi East District.
What beat the imagination of many was how come the teenager took the bold step to abort the baby which was in its final stages of formation, which is its eighth month. The lifeless foetus was said to have been discovered by some children who in turn raised an alarm. It was during investigations that Maame Abena was linked to the incident.
The teenager revealed that the her boyfriend whose name could not be ascertained gave her impressed upon her to abort the baby and went ahead to give her some drugs for the purpose. His only reason was that he feared the father of the young woman would “kill him.”
