The Kwahu South District Assembly has held its first meeting at the Assembly’s hall. Forty honourable members joined the DCE Hon Joseph Omari and Sam Ofosu Kissi, presiding member for the Assembly meeting.
Issues discussed were the budget for the 2014 – 2017, code of conduct for members as well as measures to improve lives of the people in the district. However Hon. Sam Ofosu Kissi, the presiding member advised new members of the house to learn from the old members.
They were also advised not to attend Assembly meetings with party affiliated T – shirt since the assembly proceedings are not meant to be partisan. The presiding member also vowed to work tirelessly and will ensure that every community will have its fair share of the national cake.
