Concerned National Democratic Congress (NDC) members in Awutu Senya east (Kasoa) constituency have intended to drag their MCE Hon. Dr. Nuhu Adams to court for not being vetted and approved by Assembly members.

Mr. M.K Noel, the spokesperson of the members speaking to rite news noted hon. Dr. Adams is still in office after the party and the government have declared vacant the position of MCE in the year 2013.

According to Mr. Noel, the Hon. MCE’s term of office ended 2013, but he is still in office holding that position till date.

He said, after the vacancy was declared there were six people who applied in for that position and they were vetted in the same year but since then, there has not been any nomination from the president.

Mr. Noel has questioned the president as to why there has not been nomination of any MCE in the area adding that, the president should come out to confirm whether he is the one or not, even if he is confirmed, the assembly members have to vote to select him.

The MCE, Hon. Dr. Nuhu Adams questioned the authority of Rite FM news to ask him about the issue. He asked if  he answers to a radio station and declined to comment.
