Snippets of information reaching Rite news indicate that a campaign member of the Power minister, honourable Kwabena Donkor by name Victor Saguro aged 50 drowned after the boat in which they returning from a campaign tour sank near a village called Atakuma in the Brong Ahafo region. The incident was said to have occurred on the Pra River.
According to the campaign manager, Mr. Stephen Wirinyer who was also in the same boat, they still have no idea how the boat sunk.
Several attempts by Rite news to contact the honourable minister to comment on the incident have meanwhile fallen through.
