The sub-committee chairman for Ghana National Association of Farmers and Fishermen, Nene Terkpetey Abledzi I has blamed the general secretary of the association and others for division the in GNAFF.
According to him, Mr John Awuku Dziwornu the national secretary and some executives within the association have organized some farmers to set up a different group within GNAFF which is creating division in the association.
Nene Abledzi said this bad attitude among the executives in the association is causing the gradual separation in the association and on top of all bleaching the constitution of the association.
He was speaking to Rite News in an interview about the association’s congress which is yet to be scheduled.
Nene Abledzi explained that the governing council and the subcommittee of GNAFF stood by the constitution to stop some executives who made attempt to organize some farmers to manage their own affairs but some have paid a deaf ear to it and they are still doing things on their own, especially leading some farmers to different Farmer Base Organization without the notice of the national president.
He cited the general secretary of the association, Mr John Awuku and others who have been spotted to be behind the influence as selfish.
