The Begoro District Office of Electricity Company of Ghana ( ECG) has dragged over 50 customers to court over non-payment of bills amounting to thousands of cedis.
The District manager, Mr. Simon Amezugah told Brytnews that his outfit sued clients who have been disconnected a year ago but has still failed to pay bills.
“This is a step taken to recover monies owned the company over the years” he stated.
He, therefore, warned all those indebted to the company to pay or face the wreath of his outfit especially during this christmas festivities.
“Even though some defaulters have paid, the rest are yet to do so” mr. Amezugah narrated.
