Cereal production all over the world have seen very significant improvement in yield per unit area. In most of these countries, the secrets to crop production have been unraveled and revealed to as many farmers as possible.

Systems have been put in place to ensure that the processes to cereal and crop production are followed with calculated religiosity and phenomenal yields have been attained using the same piece of land over and over again and consistently attaining the same high yields.

In Ghana, the two (2) metric tons per hectre achieved by most farmers needs to be improved upon to attain food security. To pursue the fastest and most practical route to improve the yield, the near term strategy to be adopted by AMG is the application and extension of improved agricultural technologies to some selected farmers across the three (3) northern regions.

AMG will focus on the provision of technology as well as financial support to 100 peasant farmers to bring their yields to a minimum of six (6) metric tons per hectre.

AMG will seek to sustain and expand the program to cover at least 300 farmers over a three (3) year period after which, we will continue to monitor and provide technological extension support to cover as many farmers as possible while sustaining the productivity of the initial beneficiaries.
