Agriculture To Stand On Its Feet – Prez Assures

The President, John Dramani Mahama has assured Ghanaians that his government is doing its best to make sure that agriculture production in the country stands on its feet. This he said would be through the provision of subsidies for fertilizers, agricultural mechanization, improve seeds to farmers in all parts of the country, adding that his term in office will see massive improvement in the real sector.

President Mahama gave these assurances when he inaugurated the Komenda Suagr Factory on Monday, a facility that was constructed in during the regime of Ghana’s first president.

According to him, during the first term of his administration, his government provided a lot of fertilizer subsidy for farmers and it was his desire to see the sector stand on its feet during the second term of his administration.

President Mahama further iterated that his term was to ensure micro economic facility while the second term is to invest into the real sector. This he assured would create jobs for our young people while schools will also come there for their research purposes.
