The 2010 overall best farmer of the Akwapem North District in the Eastern Region Mr. Samuel Quaye has poured out his advocacy and opinion explaining that agriculture activities in the country need more attractive improvement to boost its status.
Mr. Samuel Quaye speaking on Rite fm’s Feed the Future platform said successful agricultural productivity hinges on good farming initiatives adding, that there should be an employed means that will enhance farming activities rather than making it tedious and unattractive to many would be farmers.
That is not all, Mr. Quaye also intimated that there should be the concerted means of advertisement and market opportunities made available to ensure that the farm produce are well marketed and sold in order not to put to vain the toil of the hardworking farmers.
He further added that, there should be a means of adding value to our agriculture produce to reduce post-harvest losses.
