Adawso Farmers Voice Out Challenges

Mr. Edmund Ani Danso, an established farmer at Adawso in the Akwapim North District of the Eastern Region said that he and his colleagues were facing many challenges in the discharge of their farming activities which has affected the outcome of their toil over the years.

A frustrated Mr. Danso told Rite news that such challenges as the lack of a corn mill to help in the grating of their foodstuff, the lack of irrigation equipment as well as an unreliable climate continued to rear their ugly heads.

That isn’t all; the farmers have also called for the provision of a storage facility to help farmers store processed food.

He has therefore called on the government to expeditiously come to their aid by providing the necessary needs as well as extending their market for them.
