1-District 1-RAF gaining support

The Acting Agric Director for Akwapem North Municipality of the Eastern Region, Mr.Tetteh Nicholas Atteh has ascribed to Rite FM’s One District One Rite Agric Forum (RAF) agenda.

According to him, the previous Rite FM’s Agric Forums (RAF 1&2) has contributed a lot to the development of Agricultural sector and needed to be supported for its sustainability.

Speaking in an interview with Captain Adabugar on Morning Ride, expressed his happiness on the proposal for organizing the Agric Forum at the District levels. The director said, “the proposal is very laudable and must be supported by all stakeholders in the agricultural value chain.”

According Mr. Tetteh, Rite FM being a station for Agric and social development is doing well in agricultural development by finding solutions to farmers’ problems.

He said organizing the program at the district level will be beneficial to farmers and has the tendency of uniting them at the district levels.

The Farms Management Services Limited subsidiary, Rite 90.1 FM has over the last 24 months taken an initiative to reach farmers and others on the Agric Value Chain with the aim of helping the farmers, and  resource them to abreast with Agriculture technology as well best farming practice.

While the virgin edition came off at the Yilo Krobo Municipality, the second edition was held at the Ensign College of Public Health in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality with about three hundred farmers and Agric industry players.

The Somanya based radio station [Rite FM] is working assiduously to as a matter of necessity hold a RAF event for six districts before the major event in August 2018.
